Who has a custom exhaust?
I have some extra cash and I was thinking about doing a custom exhaust on my 4.0 xlt. Just want to start up a spot to show off what you all did with yours. I was thinking of doing an easy dump in front of the tire although I think a dual out the back looks slick.

Here ya go, Thrush Welded, SI/DO, 2 1/4" pipe, 3"X14" FloPro tips. I think they're 14" long that is.

That's always been my favorite setup. I've wanted to do it for a long time, but never really cared to get around to it.

One of the great things about the Thrush Welded, it doesn't sound ricey at all. I've gotten questioned a number of times about what engine I had. When I said the 3.0, one guy asked to see the engine! LOL

I currently have a flow master 40 with 2.5 in and out. I cut out my old one and clamped on the flow master. It works and sounds good... If you stand next to the exhaust pipe. It looks like stock exhaust to the untrained eye but every time I get under my truck, I regret how chopped up it looks. Wish it looked/sounded better. On a budget.

I'm running a true dual thrush welded setup, dual exit out the back, with 3" tips. Nobody believes I have a 3.0 when they hear my truck haha

Re: Who has a custom exhaust?
I had a stack on my 2.3 (just don't ask), after that I piped it out the side in front of my passenger wheel and added a resonator with a 3" tip. Sounded beefy, almost like the seductive lowing of cattle on an open prarie..
