Default Exhaust Upgrades for '05 3.0L Ranger?

I've had my 05 Ranger for about 3 years now, the exhaust has been messed up since I got her, I want to upgrade it and go back to the dual pipes it originally had when my grandpa first got it...but I don't know what to go with, and I'm trying to do it for the cheap.

How extensive would that be, labor and cost wise? Sorry, I'm not much of a mechanic but I can figure things out.

I went with a dynomax cat back system 2 years ago and still very happy with it. Has a slight rumble but not too loud. Ran without a muffler for a few months and it just sounded like garbage. Was $180 on amazon and bolts right into where the stock exhaust is

Do a 2.5 inch straight pipe cat back.
You will thank me later.
Plenty deep for a 3.0, and not ricy at all.
A little better pedal response and in my opinion a little better low end torque, I notice when I swap my flow master 40 muffler in the winter.

Thanks for all the advice guys! I like the idea of a straight pipe from the cat back!
