this is gonna sound dumb but so what....if I were to change pipe dia, but NOT the entire sys., to what size dia. pipe would be acceptable and where would I start with the sawzall? Also , guys, where, if I invest, would I install a Flomaster 40? I would like to keep my cats that are up front, in this case am I wasting my time????? Thanx for the info in advance!

Hey boss, I don't live in an area that is anally restrictive on emissions. What would be the downside of removing that last cat and running 2.5" from the "y" out and the Flowmaster 40 right about where the muffler should actually exist? All types of e-control crap of will she run just fine...for a 3,0 that is!
