Default Walker flange repair kit...

I have a rusted out flange, cat side. I think the Walker flange kit and a new gasket will solve the problem but do they come in different sizes? I couldn't measure the diameter of the cat side pipe but it appears about 2". That's the size I see on Amazon. I just want to be sure I order the right one so it lines up with the flange on the other pipe.

Also is there a trick to getting the rusted part off without using heat? Could I just Dremel it off?

Nevermind, I went to Napa today and grabbed their flange repair kit and spring bolts; got a 2.25" flange in hopes it will fit the stock exhaust.

Just completed the repair. Worked like a charm! But Napa parts are kinda garbage... 26 bucks for the flange kit, part of the hole on one flange had a huge burr I had to drill out... didn't even come with nuts for Christ's sake... Had to makeshift some of the hardware and also drill out the existing cat-side flange to get the spring bolts to fit and then I broke the drill bit so I had to find another suitable bolt for the other side. All in all it got the job done, would have been nice on a lift but hey, it worked and it's quiet now!

Hey all, haven't been here in awhile. I now have the same problem with my 97. AutoZone has a Flowmaster/2 1/2 in. header collector ball flange kit. That is the right size I do believe. A bit pricey but should get the job done, and no gasket needed. Has anybody tried one?
