Default Muffler vs. No Muffler

Hey y'all I would like a little advice about my truck and I've searched the forums but no one seems to have the same set up as I do. So, I have a 1999 Ranger XLT 4x4 4.0L V6. My exhaust was all stock then I gutted the cat (double chambered), lost mpg's, bought a new cat (single chambered exact fit). And now I have the stock pipe after the cat going into a Flowmaster super 44 series muffler, center in, offset out into a y-pipe and 2 1/4" pipe dualed out the back with 3 1/2" tips "cowboy style" (45'd). I'm trying to decide if I want to just eliminate the muffler and run 2 1/2" pipe to the y-pipe or go with a Flowmaster super 10 series muffler with a dual out with the same 2 1/4" pipe. Its kind of deep and a little loud when you get on it but I'm wanting a little louder and maybe deeper (I was thinking the 2 1/2" pipe after the cat to the muffler or to just the y-pipe will help deepness. What do you guys think will sound better and give me what I'm looking for? I wanna keep my same 2 1/4 dual pipes so really I'm just wondering about the 2 1/2 pipe from the cat and whether to put the 10 series or not. Thanks for the help!!

Nah I like the flowmasters. I'm just really asking whether to put the 2 1/2" pipe from the cat to the muffler or run the 2 1/2" pipe with no muffler? I have the 44 series Flowmaster and it has a nice rumble to it but I want a little louder. Would the
2 1/2" pipe between the cat and the muffler help deepness? If so, do I go no muffler or 10 series?

I'm gonna keep my duals out the back the way they are, I'm just trying to decide whether to increase the pipe size between the cat and the muffler and put a 10 series, or keep the same size pipe with the 10 series, or bigger pipe with no muffler or same size pipe with no muffler. It's the stick 2" now

One thing that I noticed with all my exhaust was a rolled end stainless tip tends to make a deeper sound
