Default Backpressure and My Exhaust Stack

So me and a friend of mine got a brilliant idea one day- we were going to make a big-rig style exhaust for my truck. We did it, pretty well for a first time I'd say, heat shield and all. He also suggested we add the resignator from his 2012 Scion Tc we had cut out earlier that week to add back-pressure. I don't know the details on how back-pressure works and all, so I said sure. I like how it looks, but I'm concerned that it might have too much back-pressure with a little more pipe and the resignator. Anyone have any ideas?

I happen to be fond of the stack, so I will only remove it if there is more power to be gained from it. Not that you would understand how all of that works beef_stew, you might not get even simple sentence structure.

coming from the guy who has a stack on small truck..... Yes u will get better performance without the stack. You should only use 2.5 piping for most of your exhaust and then at most 3inch from the muffler back.

The stack is made of the 2.75" pipe that was on the truck when I got it, just added that straight pipe (which is the same size as well).

Those two sentences are mutually exclusive events.

I have some 5inch stacks would look sweet on your truck! Thought the T pipe might be wider than your bed...
