Default Stock muffler replacement

Hello, I'm a new member and I haven't posted my intro yet but have a question. I have a 92 Ranger 4 cylinder two wheel drive. I need to replace the muffler, anyone did this yourself yet and have tips? Is the muffler welded to the exhaust pipe? Thanks.

Yes muffler is welded, if you can't weld, and want to do it yourself, you can try and use clamps, but it gets tricky with having to chop off the old muffler.

Replaceing the muffler is not very hard. I just did it to my brother's car. All you need to do is cut off both ends of the muffler with a sawsall and clamp both ends with muffler clamps. You should be in and out within the hour.
