Re: Dynomax Turbo muffler
Heck yea, for around $120 you can't beat it. I can't wait to put her back together and experience the difference.

Re: Dynomax Turbo muffler
That's what I got it for from summit. It's mid-pipe back. I had to cut a slit in the female end of the old muffler very carefully with a grinder. Then I peeled the pipe open until it would wiggle loose. So if you have a muffler welded to the mid-pipe, well, you know. So yea, the new muffler slides right over the mid pipe and the tail section slides right in too. It mounts to the stock hangers and you're done. $120 and some labor.

Thinking about cutting the tip off and welding a new one on. I like how this kit pushed the top closer to the bed then stock.

Re: Dynomax Turbo muffler
I love my dynomax cat back system. Paid around $175 shipped to my house. Had it on for over 25k miles and it sounds awesome. It isn't terribly loud but makes my 3.0 sound like an actual motor. I do not like the tip however, the first one 'tarnished' within 2-3 months, warranty replaced it, happened again. I'm sure it's from getting dirty all the time from wheeling so can't fault them but have been thinking about getting a new tip.

You got one with the actual tip.
Mine is the stupid squished tube oval thing lol. It doesn't add a lot of sound but I like it cause it changes the tone and isn't super loud. I love my radio and enjoy hearing it. There's some douchebag that lives by me with a ranger 4cyl 5 speed that literally probably only has the cat. And he flys down the streets in the neighbor hood. I'm gonna take his ass out with my potato gun one day.

Re: Dynomax Turbo muffler
There is nothing nice sounding about an exhaust cut off. Quality sounding exhaust can be loud, but there's a difference between that and just cut off...lol
