How will a 40 series with a turn down sound on a 4.0? And what if I run the pipes out sideways and under the can in front of my rear tires

Here's my most recent. Cold start, about 45 out. Don't mind my squealing belt and the leak at the headers. I still need to seal that up. Listen for that cam lope after it warms up.

Type of Exhaust: SI/DO
Style of Exhaust: Turn downs
Brand of Exhaust: Flowmaster super 44

I have a FM Super 44 on my truck and it is annoying. I had the stock exhaust removed, and this muffler welded in with turn downs. It has a lot of in cab resonance and is causing vibrations that drive me nuts. I am going to run dual tail pipes, but I am thinking of a magnaflow muffler to maybe quiet my interior resonance down. I'll try to get some video posted in the next day or so.

Like shit. The drone is ungodly annoying, and there just is no decent sound, just loud and blah.

To get any good sound you need the pipe for the exhaust to travel out.

How loud is the interior noise with the Aero 2525? I have a FM super 44 and the interior noise sucks. I want less interior noise so I can hear the radio, have conversations, etc.

I've got the turndown on mine. Sounds decent. There's a few guys that have them. There's a few videos of them but I'm sure you'll have some digging to do to find them!
