quick temporary exhaust leak fix??
Hey everyone. I'm doing some long distant traveling soon but don't have the cash for a new exhaust system. I've located the leak to the down pipe and was wondering if anyone had a quick fix idea or any tips to what works best. i.e.. exhaust wrap etc

Re: quick temporary exhaust leak fix??
for small leaks this http://www.amazon.com/Dynomax-35958-Hardware-Muffler-Cement/dp/B000CQHVLI stuff will last a couple weeks if applied thick. (THIS IS NOT A PERMANENT FIX) i did use this for a little while when some welds on my muffler cracked

Re: quick temporary exhaust leak fix??
was a straight up hole in the down pipe. used aluminum tape and exhaust wrap. so far so good. I'm just not ready to swap everything for aftermarket parts just yet but thanks for all the help. temporary fix is good enough for now
