No you can simply swap out the stock muffler for a aftermarket muffler

i like the duals sounds a looks i dont really have the money right now and whenever i type in 1998 ford ranger on flowmasters it only comes up muefflers no exhaust are found. what would i cost for dual exhaust with a series 40 flowmaster

i actually really like the gibson dual extreme

Flowmaster and Magnaflow are the popular choices

I cant recall hearing a gibson exhaust on a ranger. Look in the phone book for muffler shops and they may be cheaper than getting a bolt on system off the internet

if i replace my catalytic converter with a flowmaster 40 series muffler would it still pass emissions. i dont understand how people would pass if they didnt have the cat converter

im trying to think what this other exhaust is called it sounds really good. i actually had a thread asking what to get.
it starts with dyno... i think. not sure. but it does sound great.
ill look around try to find what its called. but if you get a flowmaster youll probally sound like a rice rice. no offence.
i use to think about geting a flowmaster until i heard the sound of the dyno.... like i said i cant remember to much of what its called. sorry.

No, and people dont pass emissions without cats unless their year of vehicle isnt required to have cats. Another great thing about Oklahoma, we dont have emissions...We dont give a fuck about your precious environment.
