Hey yall. I got done over the weekend installing my Dynomax Super Turbo. Tonight I was driving around Walmart parking lot and my truck all of sudden went down. Tried to start it up and went down again. My sister's friend said that I probably put too much gas in it prior to starting and going (over flood=stall). Then when I got it home my dad said that it sounds like the exhaust. It didn't tell me where the in and out outlet is so I just placed it on. But the hole in the middle on the exhaust is towards the front of the truck going to cat and the hole that's to the left is going towards the end of the tail pipe. Do I have on wrong and just need to turn it around or what. Again sorry for the really pathetic question but I'm new with exhaust and need some help before anything else goes bad. Thank you in advance and oh would be nice if someone could tonight so I can get started tomorrow. Thanks!

thats wierd... its not a dumb question i wana get a flowmaster and i should know how to put it on too.

I'm no pro so don't quote me but i've been under the impression that unless the muffler specificly says "directional" muffler on it than it should be able to go both ways. I bought a cherry bomb turbo muffler for mine after i got busted for straight pipes and they told me it could go on either way and should't matter

No instructions just straight out the box and did not show what the in is and out is. Scared the shit out of me tonight because I keep up on all of my tune ups and what not. And this has not happened to me before with my stock exhaust. And the new exhaust is brand new. Installed it Saturday.

No the center hold on exhaust is towards cat hole on the side of exhaust heading out to tip

flip it around it shows the center hole facing the rear of the truck. that is really strange it didnt tell u wat way to put it

if im wrong look at the diagram and see if u have the muffler on the right way

Yea I got it at Advanced Auto Parts and didn't have no instructions but the exhaust and a sticker. It shows the dimensions on the box but nothing saying inlet and outlet. But I'm going to flip it tomorrow and hopefully that solves the problem. If not well, off to the shop and sister and her boyfriend will pay for it lmao. But thanks for your help and I'll will let yall know what happens.

Hey Brandon and all, alright, so woke up 9 in the morning and went to work on the truck. Took off the exhaust and had a little bit of fun waking up the neighbors lol. Turned around the exhaust and left the tailpipe off of it and start it up. Love the sound. I'm thinking about getting a shorter pipe for now to get that nice performance sound and in the near future do duals. But the sound is amazing. Not a very deep sound like flows and magna but really you don't need that type of tone unless your going to put a lot of performance parts in it. That's for the F150's. But I started the truck up let it run for awhile and it did not shut off like last night. So hopefully that did it and everything is fine. But that's it. Thanks for the help and really appreciate it.
