Default Flowmaster Question? (Offset)

Will the Flowmaster 2.25 SISO offset 40 series Street-Muffler work on my 3.0. I Know the size is right just not really sure what the difference with the offset and not offset is?

offset IIRC is just where on the muffler the in/outlet is. Will not matter on our trucks as the muffler will be tucked up above the body line.

You'll want a offset in/center out muffler if using stock piping. You'll definately want offset in if just using the stock cat to muff pipe.

The way I read your OP is that the muffler is offset in/off set out. If it's both offsets, the inlet/outlet are on the same side of the case. This could pose a problem with your axle tube if you run a turn down on the muffler.
