Default 2005 Air box
Perfect condition will need a filter for it. Still has the snorkel in it. All rubber grommets come with it.

Will fit 2004+ trucks will need to transfer your MAF sensor over.

Asking 55 plus shipping

MAF sensor is positioned different on the 03 and older trucks.

I do believe you could make it work though.

I need this because I just installed a 2004 4.0 SOHC in my 2003 and I had to use the wiring harness from the 04 engine because my 2003 had different injectors and like you said above the MAF sensor is totally different.

Could you do just the oppisite?
Like make a 2003 air box work with a 2004 electrical connection?
Something tells me that you can't because the 2001-2003 MAF sensor is so much different than a 2004 MAF. It even has the tamper proof Torx screws.

Yes I replaced it with a aftermarket intake a long time ago.

I was able to keep my 2003 air box by cutting the 2004 + MAF electric connection and wiring on the 2003 electrical connection.
So, I guess if someone wrecked their 2001-2003 Ranger they could use yours but I hope nobody has a wreck and damages their air box.
