that's nice, and yes it can be fitted to a early ranger, nay exception is the fuse housing location is on the passenger footwell, so you would have to cut a hole to fit it.

(Just curious ... why was the back on the engine sprayed with gray primer?)

The long block would be a direct bolt in for any 2001 + Ranger. The fuse housing location is on the passenger footwell is for other things, so you would not have to cut a hole to fit it in.
