um that depends on how much flex i want. but without it hitting the fenders/bumper and such i think 8" would be enough. there was a guy running 37" on 7" of lift, but he had different wheels than i got, which i've noticed makes my bumper a lot more of a problem cause it sticks the tire out. and my 31's barely clear my bumper when i turn sharp. i am building a new front bumper so hopefully it'll be less of a problem when that happens. but my opinion is also if i ever decide to throw a set of 37s on i wanna be able to fit em without modifying stuff again. cause if i got enough money i'll put 37's on...
but it comes back to motto on a lot of things, "go big or go home"
