Default 2010 8.8" Rear Axle 3.55 Gears 20,600 Miles

I'm selling the rear axle assembly out of my 2010 sport. I just swapped it with another axle to get a 4.10 ratio. It only has 20,600 miles, very light surface rust, 3.55 gear ratio, 8.8", open differential.

I'm asking $650.
Located in Sarasota, Fl
Call or text me at 941-735-1820

I'm open to shipping it but the buyer would have to arrange that.

I'd sure like to buy it ... Would you be willing to drive up North and meet me in the middle?
Mine has drum brakes, is there a write up on here on how to convert over to disk brakes?

I thought the 2010 s and 11s had disc brakes already.

It is set up for disc brakes but the new axle I bought didn't have them so they stayed with the truck. The caliper assembly is what you'll need.

I would be willing to drive north some but not too far and archery season opened last weekend so the weekends are pretty busy now.

Oh, I thought you were selling the whole disk brake set up. That's the only way I would even think about paying $650 for a rear axle.

I guess that's how the salvage yards sell them because that is how my new axle came. I don't think 650 is unreasonable as the 2010's are hard to find and it only has 20,600 miles.

550 for a common axle, with no brakes, and high (low numerically) gears...? I'm sure people will pay above an 8.8's average value if the mileage is correct, but not that much. You could get an honest 400 out of it if it had the brake setup.. now I'd say you could walk away with 350

Deal killer for me is the open diff which should be illegal. Otherwise I would be interested. Damn and I am in Bradenton too.

The 2010 and 2011 axles will only work on 2010 and 2011 rangers. There was a new safety system used in those trucks. That along with the mileage justifies the price especially when compared to what else is out there.

The open diff shouldn't be that big of a deal as a lot of people put in a limited slip or auto locker that is better than the limited slip from the factory.

What is said safety system? I'm looking for a 2010-2011 8.8 w/LS and 4.10's for my '99 and have found in my research nothing saying it won't directly bolt up to my truck..

Aside from the other stuff what you're looking for is damn near impossible to find.
