Default Need ignition coil connector

Hi guys,
While troubleshooting a no start 2001 V6 the locking tab for the ignition coli pack broke. This makes the connector very loose. Don't need an intermittant spark coil. Ford sell this "pigtail" kit for $40 as a replacement.

Anyone have this 4 pin female connector for sale??

Also, need the fuel pump wiring info. There is a large connector on the undercarriage beside the fuel filter, but I cannot find if the fuel pump power goes thru this connector or not. I have checked all the fuses and relays and the inertial cutoff (which has 6 volts on it, not 12 right??)

I also broke the tab on my coil pack connector. It hasn't given me any issues yet. If you're hell-bent on trying to fix it securely you could zip tie it or something.

Regarding the no-start, does it turn over and just not fire? or no cranking? What have you tried/checked so far?

Regarding your fuel pump wiring info, I have the electronics diagrams for the 2001, give me a little while and I'll go flip through the manual to see if I can find what you're looking for.

Looked through the manual and couldn't find anything about any wiring harnesses going to the rear of the vehicle... not sure why that is, its the Ford workshop manual.

Regarding the inertial cutoff, if it has been tripped, it needs to be reset manually by opening it up and replacing the metal ball.

Hi Casey,
Thanks for the info. I have already tied down the connector so that is not a problem.
The bigger one is the no start. It cranks just fine. There is no fuel coming out of the new filter under the bed. My timing light says that all 6 plugs are firing. I have the XLT super cab model. This connector located by the fuel filter seems a mystery. My "Ford Factory" manual (actually a CD) does not have this connector that I can find.
Any help in locating the fuel pump wiring would be appreciated.

Yea it is strange how the Ford manual doesn't have any info on the fuel pump wiring. My guess is that it must be in the power train and electronics troubleshooting and diagnosis guide that the shop manual refers to occasionally.

Hopefully somebody else will chime in
