My airbag indicator is flashing. It flashes 3 then 2, several times and then comes on solid. I managed to track down the following information,

Code 23 (three flashes, pause, two flashes) means a problem with the driver side airbag circuit high resistance.

The Airbag was replaced about 2 years ago after a fender bender caused it to deploy, but the flashing didn't start until ~6 months ago. Is this likely to be expensive to repair. (I dont have mechanical skills, so I probably wont attempt this fix myself.)

My truck is 10 years old, and is approaching 100K, so I am considering a new vehicle anyway, only a question of when. The answer to this issue may help in the decision.
