94 Igniton Woe/Weird one too
Not sure, but I am thinking a broken ignition switch down in the steering column.
Randomly I will start my truck and will fire up as always has, but the ignition will stick in the forward postion allowing all the little dashlights (battery, 4x4, brake, etc.), not the console lights, to stay lit until I turn the switch forward a little more-causing the flywheel to scream when it is already started, and the it will then let the key turn back to its normal run position. I think the lower ignition switch below the column has a piece broken off of it, and it gets stuck on the return.
Anybody know if this might be it? If it is I can surely fix it, but wheres that switch located at? I really have no deisre to tear apart my steering column. Thanks.
