Default headlights too dim...thinkong electrical problem

My headlights aren't lighting up all the way. I'm thinking a wire is bad or something because the brights work and they are really dim when I turn the switch on the dash and I can't see at all at night and this makes me nervous
Its like only the parking lights are coming on
Thanks!

Start at the root, are your battery terminals clean or corroded?

Probably a while, but I'm not sure you the bulbs are bad. idid some electrical work not too long ago and I'm worried I screwed something up.But changing them will probably be good anyway

Radically dim low beams is a hallmark sign of a ground fault.

How do fix it? They are about the same brightness as my parking lights

Check all the wiring to each light. Look for corroded connectors, worn insulation, broken conductors. If that is what it is, you will have repair whatever you find bad.

I'll look into it, I have a feeling I screwed something up when I installed Under dash LED strips. I double checked every wire I fooled with and all look okay though
