So I don't know if this is a common problem or not but my passenger side window won't roll up. It is about two inches down and it only goes down not up. I have the interior panel off and I tried pushing it up but the electrical motor won't let it budge. I'm sure the switch or the motor or bad wiring is to blame. Mean while my question is does anyone know how I can get my window to go up by manually doing it or some other means? I'm not familiar with the power window motor. Thanks in advance.

Well to me it sounds like a bad switch because it will go down and not up i it was the motor it would have dead spots in it not the whole upward motion, as far as the wires go you should be able to see right off the bat if anything is chewed up or cut because its only like a 1' thing of wires

And to the second part of your question you could figure out witch wires control the upwar motion and hit it with 12v and it should go up

Thanks man. Yeah I figured it out. I used my test light on it to make sure the wires had power and it did but it wasn't connecting with the switch so I popped out the lock switch, filed down the square tab so it would fit into the grounded tab of the window switch and it works perfectly now. Ha thanks though!
