Cant get inspected!!!

I am new to this forum and I have a big problem. I just tripped a check engine light, it says that I am running lean on bank one and two. I have no idea where to start. My inspection is up and my truck is my daily driver, any input would be huge thanks a lot.

Oxygen sensors might be bad and need replaced

What was the code it threw

lean codes on both banks usually indicates a vacuum leak. the SOHC 4.0's have and issue with a rubber elbow cracking on one of the vacuum lines that runs along the intake plenum. i had it happen to mine and another member here recently had the same issue. i will see if i can locate a pic of the elbow im talking about. if its not that elbow it could be one of the other vacuum lines or a leaky intake gasket.

It was a dry rotted elbow on the intake. Thanks for the help guys.

Just threw the P0171 code on mine yesterday, running lean on bank 1. I had just filled up with gas when it came on. I cleared the code and it hasn't come back in 100 miles of driving, so I'm hoping its just the gas.

Totaled my ass, but yeah, they gave me almost $7K and let me keep it.

Thanks for all the info. guys it was a bad vac. elbow going into the intake manifold. I have only driven a few miles but I could put my thumb through the whole. No doubt that it was the cause.
