Default What is up with my headlight assembly?


It looked weird so i took it off

This is inside the headlight assembly. What is that, how did it get like that, and im guessing i have to replace it? Whatever the metal thing is inside, it moves freely.

It looks like the little bit that sits in front of the bulb blocking the light from going directly out the lens rather than going back to the reflector so it's aimed properly . . .
