what wire to disable the starting of a 2009 ranger to prevent theft-------thanks ---------newbee-----kzz

You can splice into to roll over switch it will kill the fuel pump

Starter and ignition wires.

You'll have to use some relays and good switches.

I'm guessing you want to flip a switch and everything die?

If a manual, you could use the clutch pedal safety switch.
