Default Optima batterys

I am consdiering purchasing a Optima battery for my vehicle
1997 Ford Ranger 2.3L Man5spd
Has anyone had a good or bad history with Optima batterys

I have never heard anything bad about them. They are pricey but last a long time.

Mine has been great no problems from it. Wish I would have gotten the yellow top though. I need the deep cycle. I did have mounting issues though and the factory hold down did not work, so I just used some big zip ties and they have held up for years. They make an adapter to make it fit but I didn't get one with mine. Might wanna ask about the adapter when you buy it.
