Wow doing the EATC swap.. I have been wanting to do that ever since I first saw it

pretty hard, u gotta get the controller, sensors, blend door servo for the eatc and the fan speed controller w/ as much of the factory harness as possible, then u have to splice it into ur factory system, (oh don't forget the vaccum tubes that go from the controller to the dash) here's the link on an very detailed how to on the install... http://www.cardomain.com/ride/296394/14

Ya not a easy swap. Worth it though. keep ur air from running the whole time

not to mention if u get a unit from a 96 and up explorer they have wires that tap the dlc and use signals from the dlc to tell the unit when it can use the heat for defrost

ok guys i have installed the eatc, it took me about 4 hours to do and now i have a slight problem i'm not sure if its wiring or what but when i put it in i could push the off button and it would turn off, now it won't it will select the defrost panel and blow the highest speed fan possible also i noticed that the fan speed only goes up to medium when i manually change it... any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated but i hope its not a total loss
