I have my 1994 ford ranger v6. on my truck there is a problem with my 4x4 and I meed help fixing it. the 4x4 dash light is on and also the light next to the 4x4 buttom on the switch but the 4x4 is not on, and neither is the low range light on the switch. please help I need this fixed soon due to all the snow!

the 4x4 isnt working but the 4x4 dash light is on as well as the switch light but I can neither turn it off or get the 4x4 to actually work

Do you have any traction at all? Have you tried driving?

theyre automatic locking hubs and I don't think they are engaging

Then pull them apart and see what the issue is...or swap them out for manual ones

Put the truck up on 4 very strong jack stands hit 4wd and see if all 4 wheels spin
