Default no wipers or dome light, related???
Hi and Thanks in advance for any help,,,

2006 ranger,wipers not working,tested the motor its good
fuses are good,I replaced it anyway

no interior dome light either,fuse is ok
bulb is new and tested
dimmer switch dims the dash but wont send power to the light

im thinking these two are related,,,next step will be a wiper turn signal switch
is this a known issue???any ideas on what else to test

Lol always a fun fuse to blow...My speedo stopped working as well when this happened to me

Yep speedo, dome, wipers, glove box, cargo lights I was like seriously wtf! But luckily an easy fix

I remember when mine went I was messing around with my dome light so I knew the fuse was blown. i just didn't realize what else went until I was trying to drive to Philly in the rain and I'm on the bridge like WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK

Well i blew the same fuse again.. Wtf is going on. I know it's related to the dome, I wondering if its from running too much stuff on that dome wire

What is hooked up to the dome wire? If overloaded then yes it will keep blowing it.

Odd, I have two LED strips under the doors wired to my dome light and never blew a fuse with them.. maybe you got too many strips lol

check all your wiring ... make sure you dont have any bare wire rubbing metal.

Will do, I've had the led strips for a few weeks and been fine and just put the led panel in the ohc and it blew. Replaced it and blew again a day later, but ill check everything to make sure

Well if that's the case. Take the bulb out, replace the fuse and see if it blows again. After a day or so put the bulb back in. If it blows again replace the bulb.
