Default brake lights

My fever side tail light came unplugged one day and now when ever I hit the brakes the turn signals come on(they don't blink just stay lit) the dash lights come on and four wheel drive lights come on. if you turn the left turn signal on it works fine. Turn the right one on it does nothing until you push on the brakes.

I am guessing you plugged them back in correctly? What happens if you unplug them? Almost sounds like something back there is grounding out. I would say

unplug both the left and right tail lights. Then reconnect the functions one by one, until something screws up. It sounds like a ground to me, but you need to get to what one is causing the issue,

so i would do each one individually till you find your problem. My gf vw had a similar problem, turned out to be a bad bulb shorting out, so maybe check all your bulbs first.... keeps us posted!

would unplug all and plug back in one by one till you find the little bugger that is causing the issue.... have to pinpoint what one, also maybe check the ground in the back of the truck...

Ok where is the ground? Does it go to the frame or the bed or where?

Checked all wires put new bulbs in tail lights and turn signals. As soon as you turn head lights on the brake lights come on. What could it be

damn i believe the ground goes up to the frame. Do you have a towing package on the truck. I have seen where the trailer wiring is causing the issue, since it combines the turn and brake lights into 1 for most trailers.

keep me updated,
