Default 2002 maybe a gem problem wipers ng

2002 vin E 4X4.
fuse 10 and 26 keep blowing.
no turn signals, speedometer, air bag light on etc.

any thoufgts

What are those fuses for?

Well........

The fuses are for gem, wipers and aux power. I took off the front dash cover and removed the radio and trim ring to get a better look at the wiring. It lookes like a beaver was living in there. After a bit I noticed an aftermarket security system and remote starter. I unhooked this mess and low and behold all workes now. I can't imagine how this could be the problem I was just glad. I spent the next 2 hours removing all of the wires and sealing up the splices. Thanks for the help this was easy but who knows about the next one.
