Default L.E.D. brake lights

i got a pair today, put them in and now my blinkers are going crazy. just like they would when a brake light is out, it blinks super fast. so i took them out and put the old standard bulbs back in and now everything is fine again. why do the led's make my blinkers do this? can i even use them?

The led bulbs pull very little amps. the truck thinks you have a burnt out bulb. You need a load equilizer or another socket and bulb wired into the circuit to make the system think you have the proper load. Not sure where to buy the load equilizers, but they are a little pricey.

Actually, an EP27 is the right way to fix this problem.

The EP27 is an electronic flasher that doesn't rely on load to make it flash the correct speed. I have one in my truck, and it blinks properly with all the led lights.
