Default help tracing fuel pump inertia switch

Ok the past few months I've been having problems with my fuel pump reset switch. It has been killing my battery so I believe that is what it is and want to check it before I buy a fuel pump. I know it will either be the pig tail for the switch or the switch itself.

I started by checking fuses and I'm not 100% that the one I checked is the correct one. The manual said the one I checked was the fuel pump motor. It was one of the big square fuses so I put my volt meter to it after I pulled it out and it says it was drawing power. So my question is which fuses do I need to check and what should I set my volt meter at to check it?

My next question is how do I check the switch? I saw what appeared to be a high voltage wire coming from the bottom of It. Also what should I set the meter to and what part of the switch should I check it from?

Any help would be appreciated and thank you.
