cig lighter. It supports all 16 LED strips and undercar kit that my truck has. It always has power, even when the vehicle is off and no key i the ignition. Its the one to the direct left of the radio.

Info on truck in question? year?

12V constant can be found on the front of the engine bay fuse box. Remove black cover and you'll see two studs with 10mm nuts on 'em. Thats where the power from the battery meet the fuse box. Of course, this only covers 98+ as far as I know. 01+ definately.

If I use the "two studs with 10mm nuts on 'em," do I connect my wires to the studs? I haven't looked in the box yet. Since there are two studs, is one of them hot, and the other one ground? Are they marked pos. and neg? If they are hot and ground, do I add my wires under the 10 mm studs. Thank you very much.

PS: If I were to hook up my accessories to the cigarette lighter, where and how do you attach to it?

Thank You!
Nick

Use a ring terminal and tighten it down on the stud via the existing nuts. Both studs are 12V constant. Don't forget fuses and don't forget relays on high load/amperage accessories.

only pic I got, but you can see it at the bottom of the pic. there's no need to remove the full fuse panel cover. Just the small one in front of the big one.

You take the whole bezel out and splice + and - wires into the cig wires. That allows you to still have good power to the lighter and then run wire from the splice to whatever you want. Ive done this for my customers that include 2 Rangers, Nissan Versa, Dodge Durango, Mustang GT, Ford Expedition, Ford F-150, Honda Civic, Lancer Evo & Ralli-Art, and a few more. I ran my full range of LEDs with the music blasting for the music interface in a show for 6 hours. Even after all that it preformed flawless and the stock battery started the truck right up without getting drained.

two like 7mm bolts under neath the radio right above the AC controls, then pull the bezel right off, should be fine to move it out of the way enough without having to un hook everything
