Question Got a good one for you guys out there

I have 6 mechanics that work for me and I consider them good guys to bounce ideas off and get help when I am stumped. They have not been helpful for this problem so far. Here is the issue.

Recently changed battery and alternator. Battery was shot and voltage regulator on the alternator was shot. Truck runs great now and runs at about 13.5 volts at all times. 3 days after I have completed the exchange I noticed that after driving for a while then stopping and shifting into Nuetral, reverse, or park the voltmeter jumps down and the engine will die sometimes.

I have a 3 inch body lift on the rig and I thought it could just be a tight wire that has been worked bare and is causing a direct short somewhere. I have chased some whires and tightened and checked all mounting clips for the wiring harness. I hate electrical problems and I don't know where to start.

Other then this annoying problem it runs great. Anybody have a good idea.

Default I have tried it all

I have tried to see if any system effects this problem. I have tested with lights on and off. Wipers, radio, heater, ac, windows, blah blah blah.

And it seems to be totally random?
I would make a new fresh ground for the battery, maybe multiple, onto the frame. What year/model/etc is the truck?
