Got a used truck cap and had it painted black. I installed it, and I replaced the window lifts. All is good. I still have the overhead brake light on the cap window to wire up. And, there is a cap dome light too. I thought I might try wiring them myself with a little help (I'm not very knowledgeable about electrical but I did wire a boat trailer once years ago) Both the brake light and the dome light from the cap have two wires each hanging down inside the cap. Where do I find the wires on the truck to wire them to, and what colors are they, etc. Any instructions and/or pictures would be helpful (lots and lots of pictures if you have any). Do I have to take off the tail light lens covers to get at the wires? I'm trying to learn to do some stuff myself.
