First off this is my first post on here so forgive me if im in the wrong place.

So i have a 1995 ranger extended cab with a 2.3l 4cyl 5speed

It didnt have a tach in it originally so i thought i would like one. Now I am having a few issues wiring it. Any help you guys could give me would be greatful and if you need anything to help, pics or w.e just let me know ill provide them.

Most common thing to do is swap the cluster and get a factory tach.

Now there are a few wiring changes from 95 to newer years so you may need to pull the oil pressure gauge and swap that into the new cluster. May also need to repin the harness as the door ajar light and fuel reset changed places too.

Otherwise an aftermarket tach can be used once you tap power, ground, illumination, and the tach feed.
