Unhappy hazard/turn signal light erratic behavior

im looking at a 97 3.0 4x4 5spd that has some weird turn/ hazard signal behavior. i need to wiggle the multifunction switch to get the left signal to work. to get the right to work i have to turn the hazards on (which do not work by the way) to turn the right turn signal on... then that one does not turn off until i turn the hazards off..... im confused..... any ideas???

so why doesnt the signal lights work correctly and the hazards not work at all? this truck is immaculate with low miles and the guy is only asking 800 because of that reason.

well the only prob is one spot on the frame... its like 2 inches behind the drivers side rear leaf spring shackle... its all the way through... so i have to go over the frame with a fine toothed comb before i even consider buying it.... are the wheelbases of the 6ft and 8ft boxes the same??

check the frame out good. the truck is usless if the frame is rotted. I think the SB is about 108" and the LB is 114". it is proably going to need rear leafspring hangers and shckles. and the braklines could be pretty rusty
