Alright, so I'm big on give a man a fish he eats for a day, teach a man to fish he eats for a lifetime.

Here is a wiring diagram, heavily annotated, which shows how to connect the lights properly and safely.

I Completely realize that looking at that, most of it is probably greek to you. Thats OK. The two things labeled VCC, are power supplies, the one on the left doesn't need to be able to support much , you can use more or less any 12v point you can find. The one on the right should be able to support a large draw, such as directly to the battery. Both need fuses which should be attached as close to the source as possible.

The red lines represent wires, the ones on the left side of the circuit should be 18ga, the ones on the right side should be 12ga. With wiring a lower number indicates a larger diameter wire, and becuase of the power used by the lights, a relativly large wire should be used on the current carrying lines.

If you have any questions feel free to ask.

PIAA are pretty much the standard. However, they do have different levels of lights (as most company's parts do). I really like anything in the 500-series...but I'm pretty sure those are like $200 or more a pair also

I had a set of KC appollos which I was happy with.

Where are you located? It can be very dangerous if lights are wired wrong and you may want to pay someone $20 to make sure its done right.

Sent from between the spare tire and the evap canister.
