Hi,
After I parked my truck at home, the next morning it wouldn't start.
I had the starter tested and it passed, I got a new batter (was under warranty), I replaced the clutch interlock switch for a new one, and after much trials I am thinking the anti-theft device got activated.
I determined this because:
-When I turn on the ignition, the 'theft' light does not quit flashing like it is supposed to.
-When I crank up the starter, I get no spark on a spark plug.
-When I turn on the ignition, the fuel pump doesn't work.

Is there a way to reset the PATS or to disconnect it? Please PM if you know how or don't want to post this. This truck is my only vehicle and I am very frustrated. I have to return my borrowed car son.

If you think it's the PATS then best get it to a dealer, there is no way to just reset or override the system. It is a security system so by it's nature there is no easy fix for the average person, and even if there was you likely won't find it on here.

I was actually hoping someone would PM me, because I called the dealer and they want $100 for diagnosis plus $800-$900 for a PCM... I feel I have to try whatever possible to reset that since the truck is not worth that much and that's a very high ticket for me.

First time my truck did this I un-hooked the battery for 3 days then hooked it back up and the truck fired up. Needs to be disconnected long enough for the clock/radio to re-set.

My did that when my factory command start failed I just stepped on the brake and turned the key back and forth and then it started.

Um I pretty sure you would get not start if your PATS is messed up. The pats module grounds out your starter relay.

Well it also sends a signal to the computer to allow ignition.
