whats a good low draw fog light/spotlight? broke my led ones -_-
i was washing my truck and i pushed on one of them too hard and it snapped off the mounting point so i have temporarily and crappily repositioned them with tape and sealant lol
but it doesnt work that well since i discovered one side of my bumper is 1/4 inch off so the pass side light doesnt fit perfectly between so its angled down.
where they were before i was a *******
where they are now (which defeats its whole purpose ) cant close open the tailgate if they are fully exposed so..
i need low draw because they are hooked up to my reverse lights and a secondary switch via low draw diodes (i believe 10 amp?) i will confirm
any advice?
requirements:
low draw
adjustable vertically (maybe shims if needed)
low profile
preferably a whiter white than the ones shown here
20 dollars or less (show me them even if they are over 20)
WATERPROOF! or at least able to make them waterproof
any help? i am looking through the accessory light thread right now
----------
these are 55 watt, i dont think i can hook them up to my switch?

----------
secondary question. is there anything such as too bright of a reverse light? (realistically?)

hey i recognize those lights and those would be really close to 10 amps
110 watts / 12 volts = 9.2 amps
unfortunately anything with 55 watt halogens probably wouldn't work even though on amazon i saw where Hella had some 35 watt bulbs that you could trade out the existing bulbs for and your switch wouldn't have a problem with them
as for to bright possibly if they are aimed wrong otherwise i haven't found them
-----
I also wonder if it would be possible for your switch box to run a relay and that run the lights this way you dont have to worry about exceeding the diodes capacity

X2 on the h3 bulbs... most lights will come with 55w h3's, but you can sometimes find 35w h3's, but by the time you buy the lights & the bulbs, you really won't be saving anything.
I've seen some pretty nice small round, oval & rectangular lights at WallyWorld in the $18 - $25 range.

Nothing less than 55w for a halogen will be of any use. And like I said in the PM, you can't can't drive those off the reverse light circuit. You need a relay.
