I have a 2001 4L Ranger XLT and it has recently been running horribly in a limp mode I took it to a friend who is a licensed mechanic and he tried scanning the vehicle he could not do a single thing so he said to try a different EEC so I plugged it in and tried starting it and everything works i.e fuel pump primes, radio comes on etc. but it will not try turning over and THEFT light flashes I know my truck is factory equipped with an anti-theft ignition kill, so what do I do leave ignition on for certain amount of time ?? anyone done this any input is greatly appreciated needed ASAP!
