I have a 08 2.3 with manual transmission that I hydrolocked the engine in it. replaced the engine and its all back together but wont start. Grounds are all good, has a new battery but when you turn the key the fuel pump/ injector relay clicks rapidly and the solenoid doesn't even click. check engine light is on and the theft light blinks rapidly. any one have any suggestions? personally considering that the ecu may need to be flashed, but electrical and alarm isn't my strongest subject in automotive.

Personally, id go to a junkyard and find an ecu from same yr, and def same engine....

try jumping it with another car, or fully charged battery
