Ok hears the new weird thing , when i fill up my tank to half a tank , it shows it correctly on the fuel guage , but its like when it gets low it doesnt work , it either shows 1/4 tank or it shows its empty

Like i said before its a brand new fuel pump , so i cant believe that could be the cause , but i guess anything is possible

My guage went out shortly before my pump did...getting a whole new pump fixed the problem. Now it does the same thing as yours... best I can recommend is just goiing to get gas when it hits a 4th. Shouldnt let your tank get much lower than a 4th anyways.
