alternator amp output 2002 b4000.. or 03 FX4 lev2?

I cant seem to find out what the rated amp output is on either of my trucks, of course i could apply a load and use an ammeter but i just want to find out what the ratings are. I have lots of accessory load and im having some issues with the alternator lead getting a bit warm

A whole lot of them were 95A; the rated output of your alternator can be determined using the part number of it.

hmm there are no parts numbers on the alternator its self but there are part numbers on the voltage reg. the local parts store lists a 130 and a 95 amp for a b4000 and a 90 for the ranger fx4

Ok, that's what the Fords parts guys claim. There is, however, another way to tell, and that is physical size. The 130A is about 1/2" larger in diameter. Here's some pics:

So i had one of each as it tunrs out, the 95 amp was prity much shot. the main terminal out of it was heated up prity good alot of times causing the nut to weld onto it and create more resistance. I replaced the end of the charge wire with a standard pico 8ga x 1/4 terminal lug and used a big terminal lug crimper to crimp it on Now im running the 130 Amp and i have the original charge wire to the battery.

my accessories include 4x 55w off road lights, a CB radio, 2 amps both 400watts I tried it out last night with most the accessories turned on \except one amp thats taken out for now. and the wire wasn't getting hot like it was before, But do you think id be wise to replace the charge wire to the battery with a new heaver gauge wire? or would i be fairly safe the way it is?

I was thinking about it and made one up but noticed the old wire has a fuseable link in it. so i left it alone not having another suitable fuse
