Default Re: Electrical Problem

Hey guys I have a 1998 Ford Ranger 4.0L. I'm having some crazy electrical issues and started out of random. So when I turn my A/C on it raises my tach gauge but doesn't actually rev the engine. Also if I turn my headlights on it kills all power to the HVAC controls and radio, and the diver headlight is dim whereas the passenger side is its normal brightness, this as well raises my tach gauge. Also at night when I have my headlights on the dash cluster has no lights on besides the check engine light and ABS light are on. Then during the day my headlights stay on but are very dim. I've replaced the headlight switch, multi function switch, and fuses. Im out of ideas now! Please and thank you in advance!

Did you ever find the solution for these electrical problems? I have been looking everywhere for a likely cause of these seemingly unrelated bugs!

I replaced my GEM module and everything now works great. I bought a used one with same numbers and we replaced it ourselves. Total cost lead than $200.
