Default Could it be the computer?

I originally had a code for TPS, MAF, IAT. I don't remember the P CODES. (USED A FRIENDS SCANNER). But with the old flasher reader I got a 157 998 and one for the IAT. I have replaced the TPS and MAF. Now I have pulled a code 542, 538, 136, 157, 172 and 542. I tried the wiggle test and the only thing that sounded the alarm was when I unplugged the TPS. Not the MAF, IAT, or even unplugging the coil packs. T

Default Re: Could it be the computer?

I pulled the computer checked the connections, along with about every other one, put it back together. I was able to get it up to highway speed (before 45 was about tops). My MIL came back on so I did a KOEO scan when I got back and I have this. Codes 122, 157,172, 176, 126, 122, 185. One thing I want to point out when first started on this last run while it was warming up the MIL came on at idle I rev the motor a bit and it would go off, back down to Idle it came back on. By the time I got home the light stayed on and would not go off. I also cleaned the ground on the in fender by the cruise control. I believe that is the ground for the ECU.

Any thought? Anyone?

I finally got to check the fuel pressure. When I started it I got 30 psi then it jumped to 70 psi when the check engine light came on.

----------

One more thing. Key on engine off fuel pressure test, my pressure started dropping after a couple seconds.
