Default no hazards or turn signals or speedo 99 xlt 2wd 5spd

The hazards haven't worked since I bought the truck. The turn signals just went out, as well as the speedo.

I would like to change the flasher relay or relays.. but I can't figure out where they are, some people are saying that its blue or yellow.. I found a box under the steering column with 5 or so black relays in it, but I don't know if I'm in the right spot, or if I am... which relay I need to replace.

I have an online owners manual downloaded, and it shows the relays and fuses under the hood and on that side panel, but not this box under the steering column.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you!!

Flasher is up under the dash (driver side) this picture shows with the dash partially taken apart. It will be clipped on to the dash. It will be yellow or blue. the black part is the replacement flasher

Ok.. went to the parts store and got the flasher, installed it... wow! I have hazards, but still no turn signals.

Are the hazards and turn signals on the same relay? Please tell me they aren't... otherwise I don't know what is wrong...

Turn signals are not. Turn signal fuse is #21 at the driver door

Well one of the first things I did was check the fuses on the panel and under the hood. They are all fine. Any other ideas why they wouldn't be working? I did try a different instrument cluster, which did nothing.

Thank you so much for your help so far.

Under the hood did u look at #12 30A Main Light Switch and Multifunction Switch which is the turn signal lever.

If you have a test light you can flip the lever and see if you have power at the socket

I think I did check that one at one point, but I will check it again, and I will use the test light.

While I was changing the instrument cluster, I did find that the idiot who owned the truck before me must have unhooked the cigarette lighter and left the power wire hot, which in turn melted that wire to about 4 others pretty much all the way from the lighter to the fuse box. I got them all peeled apart and taped up, but hopefully nothing was permanently damaged.

I don't know what to think about the speedo, it went out the same time as the turn signals. Is there a relay or fuse related to it anywhere?

Possibly didn't get the harness plug back into the cluster when you removed it. or the sensor on the rear axle is bad.

#11 #25 & #33 fuse driver door are the instrument cluster fuse

I'm positive the plugs were in good, the speedo wouldn't work in the stock cluster or in the new one I bought.

I will check all those fuses tomorrow, thanks.

Checked all the fuses, and they are all still good. I can't find my test light, but I'll keep looking.

Any other ideas? The lever will click once as it goes in position for a left or right turn, but that is all.

Maybe the multi function switch it's self

You can get one on ebay for under 20 dollars shipped or find one in a junk yard

Ok, got the test light on that #12 fuse under the hood, it showed a constant power, with no change when I turned the signal lever left or right.

Whats the diagnosis doc???

Need to test it at the turn signal socket to see if you get power all the way there.

Where the actual turn signal bulb is. use the test light and test the wires going to the socket to see if they are getting power there.
