Default Instrument cluster lights not working.

Hey guys, I have a 98 Ranger xlt.
A few days ago I tried and put in an aftermarket stereo and a spark happened then my instrument cluster lights all went out. The stereo works but when I turn the switch to turn on my headlights, instrument cluster, ect only the headlights come on. I've checked the fuses and none of them are blown. I have no clue how to fix this, please help! I'm a delivery driver and it sucks pretty bad driving at night now hahah.

There is a fuse blown. Check again.

Could his bulbs have burnt out from the spark?

I have the same problem...installed an aftermarket radio. All insturment lights, including a/c and light switch dont work. I checked all the fuses that listed "instruments" in the owner's manual. Any idea which fuse to check? ALSO, I pulled the cluster and the small lights have NOT blown out. They all have filiment and no carbon stains.

ANOTHER CLUE...the 15 amp fuse under the hood (#11 Parklamps relay and Main Light Switch) keeps blowing. The cluster lamps and "lights on warning chim" work for a second before the fuse goes.

Any ideas where the short could be???

Yes. In your aftermarket stereo, or you wired it wrong.

Changed out all the bulbs in my cluster, but the ones that were burnt out before will still not light up with the new LEDs. Any ideas!? So 2 out of 6 work.

They have bi polarity you have to take the bulbs out and turn them the other way

194's don't care which way they are installed. That shouldn't make a difference.
