I am getting no heat in my truck. I removed the glove box, and the blend door works and there is heat behind there but only cold air is blowing. checked all my fuses and they all looked good. replaced my heater controls thinking that would fix the problem but it didnt. none of the coolant hoses are plugged. what else could it be??


1996 ranger xl, 4.0, ext cab, 4x4, 152,000 miles, auto, 245/75/15 Yokahoma Geolander ats'.

If the hoses and heater box are hot, then the blend door is NOT working.

all the door does is open when you turn the heater off and close when you turn it on

That makes no sense. The blend door opens and closes proportional to the temperature knob.
